The final week of the project was most likely one of the busiest for the documents and testing team. Most of my time was spent working on the validation portion of our report. The page went through CSS validation through the W3C CSS validator Wednesday evening. One error and a few questionable browser specific issues were discovered. I reported these problems to the coding teams. As of Friday morning the validation service gave our CSS code a clean bill of health. I also utilized “browsershots.org” to analyze and detect any issues that may arise with viewing our page on specific operating systems and browsers. No major issues came back from this test. The next step was analyzing user feedback from our surveys that the document and testing team sent out. There were not of data points to do a real statistical analysis and draw any major conclusions, but some of the issues that users uncovered were relayed to the coding team and as of this writing have been fixed. Sadly none of the board members were able to complete the survey. Therefore we really do not have an understanding of how they feel about using the features created with the board in mind. Finally, I updated my portion of the design plan. There were few changes to be made; only minor additions to how the site actually functioned (as it applies to the board members) were required.
