Once more, slightly late

This week was, to be honest quite crazy. All of the projects culminated this week, and it resulted in a huge lack of sleep. Fortunately, for our English project, everything finally started to come together. This week, we completely rewrote the "manage content" portion of the website in order to streamline the process of creating, editing, and deleting pages. With our original design, it would have proved impossible to add new sections to the site, once the initial design was finalized. With the revamp, however, they can add as much content as they want and fully edit where and what it is for.
In addition, I created a "statistics" section on a whim one morning. When the client was originally meeting with us, he had mentioned that their research showed a heavy leaning towards the jobs pages. With our redesign, I wanted to incorporate a sort of counter in to our website that would make it easy for the client to check the status of the pages. Simply, every time a page is visited, it updates a counter in the backend database that can be viewed on the statistics page. It does not take into account unique visitors, nor does it track them across the site, just page views.
Further, I started a system that allows the administrators to modify the main navigation of the site. Essentially, it allows the admin to modify the order of items in the navigation list and remove items from the list while still leaving them on the website itself. This portion is not completely finished, but should be soon.
Lastly, I worked again with David to improve the FCK editor, resizing it to fit our layout and helping him to get a custom toolbar created that was more suited to the client's needs.
