The votes are in, and the Service Learning Project Rubric is attached below in .doc format. This is the rubric I will use to score your Client Documents.

By Wednesday (11/11) at 10:00 am, your group should make a blog post that contains the following items:

1. Your draft Proposal (as an attachment)
2. Your draft client materials (as attachments)
3. A form that solicits feedback from the reviewers of your draft Proposal and draft client materials by explaining precisely what they should evaluate and how (in the body of your blog post)

Make certain to have this material posted by the deadline. You should give yourself enough time so that you can contact Jeremy if you encounter difficulties.

This activity is designed to help you get some basic experience with digital image manipulation.

1. Go to http://people.uncw.edu/tirrellj/pracimag.png.
2. Save the image to your desktop.
3. Open the image in Adobe Fireworks.
4. Try cropping, editing, and transforming the image.
5. Add text to the image.
6. Experiment with the program to identify other image manipulation possibilities.

We will share some of our work in class.

Locate an example of a service learning project online, and then post a comment of at least 200 words that responds the following prompts:

1. Paste the project's link.
2. Summarize the project.
3. Explain what skills and/or knowledge students obtain from the project.
4. Explain how a community or organization benefits from the project.
5. Provide a definition of service learning. What commonalities do all service learning projects share?

The votes are in, and the Corporate Communication Project Rubric is attached below in .doc format (I made a few small changes). This is the rubric I will use to score your Corporate Communication Project materials.

To post your group's Internal Memo draft, first identify one resource online that you believe provides good information about how to write a memo. Then, one member of your group post a blog entry that contains:

1. The link to the online resource
2. A current draft of your group's Internal Memo

Be prepared to discuss your Internal Memo draft and why you believe the resource you located is valuable in class on Friday.

Once the Press Release drafts have been posted, respond to the following prompts in a group comment on the corresponding blog for each Press Release draft including yours.
