Criterion Description Points
Apology The message begins with a sincere apology that accepts responsibility. 0-4
Content The message contains useful, concise information that is relevant to the audience, including a remedy to the current crisis. 0-4
Front-Loaded The message begins with the important material and then provides details, not the converse. 0-4
Presentation The message's production levels and use of imagery, video, audio, etc. is effective. The speaker also represents himself or herself appropriately. 0-4
Timing The message intercedes in the crisis at an appropriate moment in time. 0-4
