The due date for Project 1 has been pushed back to Wednesday, Feb. 6, so that everyone has enough time to respond to their revised data map draft feedback. We will still move forward with Project 2 on Monday, but you do not have to turn in any part of Project 1 (design plan, data map, postmortem) until Wednesday. This should allow everyone the opportunity to revise their data maps and visit the Writing Lab. Email me if you have any questions.

I have replied to your final Project 1 questions. I encourage you to read through them all, so that you are completely clear about the parameters of Project 1. You should also consult the Project 1 page (particularly the rubrics) for this purpose.

Remember to bring in your design plan draft on Friday (1/25). Your design plan should correspond to the data map that you intend to create for Project 1. Keep in mind that you can always change what you are doing (indeed, this is why we revise), so this design plan is not set in stone; however, you will need to put some serious thought into what you would like to create for your Project 1 data map in order to generate your design plan. Use our Compose, Design, Advocate readings and the "Design Plan Tips" page on our class site for guidance when creating your design plan.
