This text uses online maps built with the Google Earth platform to explore Rhetoric and Composition disciplinary history through a geographical perspective. Its findings reveal significant historical patterns that emerge only through quantitative, spatialized visualization, which demonstrates the productivity of geographical historical approaches and validates their parity with more established chronological and biographical methods.
