Monday I was unfortunately sick and decided to miss one class. This proved to be slightly foolish as a lot happened that day. But regardless, I can mostly just talk about Wednesday for working.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/562#comments Week 16 Fri, 12 Dec 2008 15:17:43 +0000 islington 562 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1 Progress Report http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/540
Week 15 has so far been the best in terms of production. Monday I created the banner, logo, and a few of the other link images used on the page. I worked with the front end coders to ensure that the resolution of each image would work. I also communicated with the other designers to make sure we were all on the same page, that we were not overlapping in our work, and so on. We tried a few initial images, and finally settled towards the ones we would use on the main page.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/540#comments Week 15 Fri, 05 Dec 2008 15:11:24 +0000 islington 540 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1 Week 14 http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/524
While a little late, I felt it important to still reflect on the work done this week. With only one workday in class before break, only a few things were completed. The design team met and I led in narrowing down the images the client had provided us for use on the website. I also spoke with the front end coders to see where they were at, but they said they would need more time. Essentially I am ready to go to create graphics as soon as the opportunity is available.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/524#comments Week 14 Mon, 01 Dec 2008 00:08:47 +0000 islington 524 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1 Design Chosen http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/502
Early in the week it was hard to get a clear direction of where to go. Monday was spent analyzing each of the design team's designs and choosing which aspects that regardless of what the client chose, we could carry over to the next. Last week I had already made the first mock up, which ended up being chosen after Wednesday. So this week I had not made another design on my own.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/502#comments Week 13 Fri, 21 Nov 2008 22:52:13 +0000 islington 502 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1 Starting Out http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/475
This week was the beginning of the project. As such, there was quite a few things to take care of. The design team is very focused and busy during the first portion of development. As part of the design team, I communicated heavily with the front end coders, the organization team, and my own team to decide how best to approach everything and what needed to be accomplished within the week's time. My team and I parsed through existing websites, garnering ideas and modifying or creating our own designs using thumbnail sketches.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/475#comments Week 12 Fri, 14 Nov 2008 22:22:22 +0000 islington 475 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1 10th Wonder Heroes Podcast http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/265
http://cdn2.libsyn.com/hancocklg/10w_ep60.mp3?nvb=20080926192426&nva=200...

As a forewarning the podcast is around an hour. A lot of this however is episode summary. So if you would like to skip past this, I don't blame you, I usually do.
