While the deadline for a working website was Monday it still was not ready for testing then. As a result we ended up waiting until Wednesday to be able to send out our testing forms. On Monday then the group discussed how we would go about constructing the change document. This was done by creating a simple outline of the document and pulling some screen captures from the website. I worked on the project again on Wednesday morning. On Wednesday morning I sent out my forms to the testing audience.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/563#comments Week 16 Fri, 12 Dec 2008 15:43:17 +0000 NEWMAN 563 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1 Alex Lewis Week 15 Work Blog http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/536
This week was another slow week for the documents and testing group. Monday was there was not much to do since none of the front-end code had been started. This put all of the groups at a stand still. However, the group was able to collaborate on how we could format the change document and conduct the testing. Monday proved to be the slowest day of the week and this was all that was accomplished.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/536#comments Week 15 Fri, 05 Dec 2008 14:49:52 +0000 NEWMAN 536 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1 Alex Lewis Week 14 Doc & Test http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/520
For the documents and testing group this week has been extremely slow. The design plan is finished until we get a final website that will allow us to create the final plan that fits our exact website. As soon as we return from the week break we will meet with the coding teams, so that we can discuss a change document. From what I understand from the coding teams we will discuss in the document how to change the overall body of the text and we will include how the board can post, edit, and delete documents from the website.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/520#comments Week 14 Fri, 28 Nov 2008 23:24:07 +0000 NEWMAN 520 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1 Week 13 Blog Entry http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/492
This week the group has primarily worked on the design plan.

Monday November 17:
This day started with taking each individuals design plan and placing it into one document. Over the weekend myself and the other group members edited our own design plans, so that we could place it into one document. We made each group member go over the complete document with a red pen and edit out all the errors we could find due for Wednesday. This is what I did on Tuesday was print out the complete document from Google docs and make any revisions that I could find.

Wednesday November 19:

http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/492#comments Week 13 Fri, 21 Nov 2008 15:05:57 +0000 NEWMAN 492 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1 Week 12 work blog http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/487
I know this is late and for that I apologize. I'll start with Monday November 10. On Monday myself and the other group members had what seemed like a brainstorming session for the design plan. We knew that our medium was set, but what we wanted to define were the audiences that would be visiting this website. What we came up with were four audiences the job seekers, the board, volunteers, and donors. My personal audience analysis was the job seeking audience.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/487#comments Week 12 Mon, 17 Nov 2008 00:18:21 +0000 NEWMAN 487 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1 DVD Weekly http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/264
1. http://cdn4.libsyn.com/dvdweeklypodcast/DVD_Weekly_Sept_30_08.mp3?nvb=20...

Purpose: The purpose of this podcast is to provide an overview of DVDs and games that are being released for the current week.

Audience: The audience for this podcast would be people that are looking to find what movies and games are coming out for them to buy.

Context: The context of the podcast could be someone listening at home or on there ipod.

Medium: The medium for this podcast is an mp3 file that can downloaded or streamed.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1/node/264#comments podcast_blog Fri, 26 Sep 2008 17:52:49 +0000 NEWMAN 264 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/fa08/tirrell1
