All students have an optional extra credit opportunity; it involves going to a video game arcade. This assignment can add up to three points to a student's Participation grade (point assignment is at the instructor's discretion). It may be completed anytime before Dec. 1.

Follow these steps to complete the extra credit assignment:

1. Go to a video arcade. This must be a place with free-standing arcade games (so Sharky's in Fisher Student Center won't work, although it's a neat place). The arcade at Carolina Beach recently burned, so that's not an option. Probably your best bet is Jungle Rapids, but feel free to find other places.
2. Spend some time at the arcade playing games and absorbing the atmosphere.
3. Take a photo of yourself at the arcade and email it to the instructor.
4. Complete this form about your experience.
