Summary:

Each student will produce a substantial, original document. Students will individually decide which medium, format, and genre to adopt. Documents should be submitted in their finished material formats, so students will develop them from concept to finished product.

Accompanying the document will be a short explication paper clarifying the document's effectiveness by referencing other works. This paper should use design terminology from Document Design and other concepts discussed in class.

Students also will present their documents to the class.

4. Explication Paper (30% of assignment grade)
