Hotel Business, a journal, published an article called “Four Points Plans New Room Design.” The article talks about how Four Points by Sheraton is creating a new look and feel of their guest rooms. In order to create this they talk abou the changes that need to be made, such as a new signature bed design. The interior design of the rooms will be “comfortable and contemporary” (9). By re-designing the rooms in the hotels, a specific target market is being catered to.
This is a great article to use for my analysis of hotel spaces and their target markets. There’s a perfect quote on page nine that says specifically what the goal of re-designing the rooms is and the target market it will accommodate. I can use this as an introduction into my paper describing how hotels design their rooms to attract a certain clientele
