I was looking over some promotinal material when I thought of the easy button. During the last 2 years staples has been advertising the easy button. They advertise from lost ink to another lost easy button. The whole catch to the easy button promotion is that if you come to staples its as easy as hitting the easy button. They are basically saying that they have everything for office supplies. The album called Dookie by Green day is described by planes flying around and dropping bombs of dookie. When i originally saw this album I never did much thought into looking at the art. I just listened to the music. After going back and looking at the album art I saw just what they were dropping. These planes were dropping tons of crap onto a cityscape. He puts across various elements to create a good album cover. I though that the one thing he put across the best was that you should focus on your target audience and not just use things you like. He stated that if your band you are making an album for is Goth then the cover should have Goth stuff in it. He also stated that you should use the correct font. Don’t just go and use your own font that you like.
