I put a lot of time trying to get our white paper rough draft into top condition.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1/node/1215#comments Individual Activity Report Group 7 Sun, 03 May 2009 23:46:01 +0000 Joey M. 1215 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1 Week 15 http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1/node/1160
This was a busy week for me again with school and work, but I found time to get it all done. Really the only thing that we had to do this week was to prepare our rough draft of our white paper. I had previously done my research blogs so I pretty much knew what I wanted to put into the paper, but I had to put in the right format. Basically what I did was take all of the information from my research and put it into the same category for each phone. For example I put the size and weight together, colors together, and all of the different hardware and specification information together.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1/node/1160#comments Individual Activity Report Group 7 Sun, 26 Apr 2009 19:08:38 +0000 Joey M. 1160 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1 Research Blog 3: G1 http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1/node/1054
My third and final research blog is going to be over the G1’s hardware and specifications. I got all of my research and information from the company who actually makes the phone, HTC, itself at their website http://www.htc.com/www/product/g1/specification.html.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1/node/1054#comments Research Blog Group 7 Fri, 17 Apr 2009 20:32:47 +0000 Joey M. 1054 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1 Research Blog 2: Blackberry Storm http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1/node/1053
My second research blog is going to be over the Blackberry Storm’s hardware and specifications. I got all of my information for this part of my research from the Blackberry website itself at http://www.blackberry.com/blackberrystorm/specifications.shtml. In my first research blog I am going to be going over the specs for the iPhone by Apple. Besides the normal workload of reading the assigned readings and writing our responses, there was also a lot that my group had to do for this week.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1/node/1040#comments Individual Activity Report Group 7 Fri, 17 Apr 2009 15:46:44 +0000 Joey M. 1040 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1 Smart Phone Thumbnail http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1/node/985 http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1/node/985#comments Thumbnail Group 7 Wed, 15 Apr 2009 20:31:44 +0000 Joey M. 985 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1 Proper ethics, do you have them? http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1/node/962
Ethics is a big part of life, not only in the workplace and in school, but it is somewhat of a factor in almost every single situation that a person deals with. Ethics, or as the book put it, “doing the right thing,” is something that is engrained in a person when they are a child by their parents and their surroundings. Long story short, a person’s ethics is basically what they think is right or wrong. For example, is it right to cheat off of another person’s test paper or is it right to look away and not cheat?

http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1/node/962#comments Reading Response-Week 14 Group 7 Mon, 13 Apr 2009 23:13:10 +0000 Joey M. 962 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1 Week 2 http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1/node/921
Once again this week my group discussed how we were going to divide up the work for this week through emails and through Microsoft Office Live. We briefly discussed what we wanted for the Gantt chart and divided up who was going to do what. I decided that my main role in the Gantt chart would be to revise and edit it. Once it was posted on the office live website, I took a look at it and after a few minutes I came up with several different ideas about changing it.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1/node/921#comments Individual Activity Report Group 7 Sun, 12 Apr 2009 19:11:40 +0000 Joey M. 921 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1 Research Plan http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1/node/869
I think that the Thomson Handbook has a great definition of research in saying that, “research projects typically involve posing problems and answering questions about a subject that you want to learn about or that you think others should understand better.” In my eyes, that is probably the best definition of research that I have ever heard. I know that I personally hate to do research for schoolwork and assignments, but if it is something that I am genuinely interested in than I thoroughly enjoy learning more about a subject that I like.

http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1/node/869#comments Reading Response-Week 13 Mon, 06 Apr 2009 22:47:09 +0000 Joey M. 869 at http://www.digitalparlor.org/sp09/421Y1
