Draft and Usability Test 1

To complete this assignment, bring to class:

  • a draft of your instruction set (this will be used in class and then turned in to the instructor)
  • three printed copies of a corresponding usability test (two of the copies will be used for testing and one will be turned in to the instructor)
  • any other items that are required for someone to complete your usability test

During class you will administer your usability test to your fellow classmates. Consider this activity to be a form of peer review, which means that its benefit is manifold: you will receive feedback that you can use to revise your instruction set draft; you will get exposure to the drafts of other students in the same situation as you; you will practice constructing usability tests, an important professional genre.
