Keep in mind that you will need to create an usability test that your fellow students can complete outside of class. The instructor will forward your draft and usability test to two of your fellow classmates. They will complete the usability test within 24 hours of receiving it and email you the results. (Respondents: please CC the instructor on your reply emails.) Consider this activity to be a form of peer review, which means that its benefit is manifold: you will receive feedback that you can use to revise your instruction set draft; you will get exposure to the drafts of other students in the same situation as you; you will practice constructing usability tests, an important professional genre. |
