Instructions Project: Draft and Usability Test 1

To complete this assignment, submit an electronic version of your instruction set and corresponding usability test.

When you come to class, make sure to have access to your draft, and bring two printed copies of your usability test. (Also bring in any items that would be required for someone to complete your usability test.)

During class you will administer your usability test to two fellow classmates. Consider this activity to be a form of peer review, which means that its benefit is manifold: you will receive feedback that you can use to revise your instruction set draft; you will get exposure to the drafts of other students in the same situation as you; you will practice constructing usability tests, an important professional genre.
