    Public Text

    • Due Dec 1, 2020 by 11:59pm
    • Points 0
    • Submitting a text entry box, a website url, a media recording, or a file upload

Students can earn up to 5 extra credit points by creating a document that communicates their research findings to a broader popular audience. The document may be in one of four formats:

    • Online Write-Up
    • Infographic
    • Podcast Story
    • Online Video

Students can use the works in these formats they have identified through their Popular Science Responses as models. To help establish their document's context, students must submit a comment with their submission that includes links to three similar peer popular science pieces.

Public Texts should be informative, cohesive, and engaging for a popular audience. Resources for each format and stock media links are provided below.
