    Audience or Platform Overview Handout

    • Due Mar 23, 2021 by 9:30am
    • Points 0
    • Submitting a website url or a file upload
    • File Types pdf, doc, docx, pages, and rtf

We will create one-page (two sided) handouts over our different audience groups and web platforms. We will use these documents internally to get a shared understanding of the topics.

If you are researching a K–5 audience group:

    • Include in your handout a list of audience traits and thoughts about how to target them through strategies (such as language choice or use of visuals). Make sure to provide sources for your claims; we want to be able to give the client evidence for our choices. Also identify in your handout other documents that target this audience (and preferably address a similar topic).

If you are researching a web platform:

    • Include in your handout the platform's strengths and weaknesses and give a basic overview of how we can use it. (Your guidance doesn't have to be for everybody; it would be more effective if it were tailored specifically for us.)

You can earn up to 3 individual extra credit points for your handout.
