    Students will present their research through printed posters. The poster is a common academic genre that uses visuals and text to communicate findings. Posters, like their associated Research Papers, are rhetorically composed to inform viewers and guide them to a particular point.

    Students will share their posters in an open forum during the final exam period. There is no associated formal presentation, but students should be prepared to lead viewers through their posters and answer questions competently.

    Poster dimensions are 48" x 42", 48" x 36", or 42" x 36". A representative from the university's Center for the Support of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships (CSURF) will visit our class to discuss effective poster production. Helpful CSURF resources also are appended below.
