Document Design Infographic Project Description
Summary:
The Document Design Infographic Project asks students to create an infographic Links to an external site. that explains and illustrates a concept from the class's Document Design Handbook. Infographics must reference and cite at least three external sources that provide trustworthy information about the topic. Infographics must be 800 pixels X 2,000 pixels (a common genre size) and submitted as .pdf files. Students are not required to use a particular tool to produce the infographic, although we will cover Adobe Express Links to an external site. and Canva Links to an external site. in class.
We will go through multiple steps with corresponding deliverables to complete the full project, including locating examples of effective infographics to examine their features, generating a corresponding rubric, and analyzing audience and genre traits.
