What we need to accomplish this Tuesday:
1. Tweak Design Plan.
2. Finish plugging "content" into site.
3. Discuss "answers" from Rawlings.
Submitted by Adam on Tue, 11/20/2007 - 17:24.Group 3 has chosen the open source web design template to be used for the website. We would like to focus on adding all the content that we have to the website's pages. After that we will decide on how to handle the administrative section of the site. The admin section will be for her to change FAQ's and calendar events, etc.
At this point I don't think we need anything from you.
Submitted by ngc6853s on Thu, 11/15/2007 - 18:40.1 – After choosing a template and organizing elements of the original page into the new template, we mainly have functionality and presentation left to deal with. Next class we plan to use the more advanced features of our template and find specific ways of implementing and dealing with search bars. Then comes the more tedious job of actually taking content from the original website and pasting it into ours. This content includes items from red ribbon week, grant information, and various other links on the original website. This can be very time consuming but the fact that we have the knowledge of where we want to organize our material makes this job much easier. We also plan to work on the visual aspect of our website during next class. This includes site banners and color schemes.
2 – At the moment we have the resources and training needed to reach our goals next class.
