Can we go to the client for direct feedback and advice at various stages of the project, or just at the time in which we present the website draft to them?

If we wish to incorporate photos of members in our design will we get these from you or directly from Ms. Rawlings?

Project 3 Question

You mentioned that you will be directing our questions to Ms. Rawlings - are there any questions that we should directly contact her for? Will there be guidelines for who to ask?

question

What is a way that people with very little web design experience can help in this project, so that we can still get all the points?

Drug Free

Do you feel that in this case simple is better? Considering usability issues with Ms. Rawlings, should we be trying to pretty much make this as simple to update as possible?

Ultimately it seems like this project comes down to usability vs. graphics vs. organization of information

Since the information is there(however at this point badly organized) - that would mean our focus would be more on graphics vs usability, is that correct?

Open Source Technologies

Given our limited time frame of probably about 6 weeks to deliver a completed project, I know you said we could possibly make use of open source technologies such as MySQL. But are we allowed to make use of existing open source projects, such as an editor for client-side content management of the website?

Are we going to go over any CSS techniques or is that something to research and learn on our own?

Will server-side development

back end question

Do to the limited amount of experience that the client has with updating web pages, it seems that an admin section that allows them to modify content would be helpful. Would these sorts of content management systems that increase functionality and usability factor into their final decision, or are they just looking for something that looks "pretty".

Postmortem

I realize that the postmortem is a small portion of the project 3 grade, but a better question eludes me. You mentioned that we'll be "grading" our group members as well as answering other questions for our postmortem. If this is true, then will our postmortem grade be based solely upon our team members' rating?

question'd

Will we be able to focus the needs of the client, here? We've got a very loose sense of audience and purpose so far...would additional resources outside of just Ms. Rawlings be useful? Or do we need to, as part of the project, focus their needs?

P3 Question

Can we hard code the entire thing and just make templates that they would modify content areas with? Also how soon would we know about the servers? it will make a huge difference in implementation of the site and what the site will be capable of doing.
