question
I understand the project, but I am at a loss for what I should chose for my topic. Everything that comes to my mind are things that already have a set of directions and I am unsure of how to alter them. I just need some suggestions if that is possible.
Instructions Project
Do we turn in a hard copy of our project or will there be a place on the website to submit our project?
If there are already existing
If there are already existing directions for a chosen subject and we use something from those directions, should we put a citation on each of the instruction sets? Or even make some sort of works cited page?
Instructions Project
Is our project something we are going to present to the class and sort of walk through? Or is it just something that we turn in to you?
Project Question
When it talks about "usability testing" does that mean someone in the class is actually going to try to perform the task using our instructions? Or are they just going to proofread it to make sure it makes sense in the case that they would perform the instructions?
Question
Will we be expected to pick our two different audiences or do you have two in mind already?
Instructions Project
The blog post talks about making the instructions more suitable to a specific audience. If the project we choose already has a set of instructions, can we just change them to make them more suitable to our two different audiences or do we have to pick a product without written instructions?
Questions
I understand the details of the project pretty well, but will we be devoting any time in class to the project? Or is it all done outside of class? Are you going to be easily available for questions along the way?
instructions project question
After reading the instructions for this project I am curious as to what types of instructional media we can use? Would the best instructions include text and pictures/video?
Instructions Project Question
I know you said to not use the word "you" in our instructions, but what about "I"? Would it be ok to say, for example, "I prefer using..." or "I have found it easier to..."?
If the topic we pick already
Would we receive a higher grade for a topic that does not already have instructions?
What sort of class time will
What sort of class time will we have available for our use to dedicate to the project? I feel like I heard or read the answer, but I can't seem to find it. Thanks.
It seems nearly impossible to
It seems nearly impossible to find something that has no instructions available, but if we find something that in fact does not and use it for our project, would we be susceptible to a higher grade?
Instructions question
Will we be able to turn in a finished copy to you early so you can give us feedback before the actual deadline?
Instructions
My intended audiences are college students and/or lawn gamers. I am confused about how to split the instructions into two different presentations...
Graphics and illustrations requirements
Are graphics and illustrations required? If so, how rudimentary may they be?
???
So does this have to be a task we are capable of; or can this be a learning experience for us as well?
