*I believe the poster template would work well, and I can see a mental image of your poster, but I would consider adding a few of the student's classes from when they were in the program here. Perhaps their favorite one? This will draw others that may be interested in the English department towards certain classes.
*There should always be a united front with any group of materials used for a common goal. The English department is trying to thrive on the idea of being more technological, though, so while a personal touch may be aesthetic in most cases, I think sticking with the computer design may work better for this specific assignment.
*I still have questions. What are other ways you would be able to contact the out-of-state former students? Have you considered a web cam? What questions will you be asking?
*I believe your proposal report is strong and describes very well what you plan on doing.
*I think you should choose the questions you will ask very carefully when you talk to the three former students. Keep in mind that this project is for the English department and remember their focus: draw more people to the English department. They want to express that they are tech-savvy and that their students succeed. Keep it professional and aesthetic and you should work well!

1. sounds good, but need a visual or a more descriptive template. terms like "personalize" are too broad for a written template, describe how you will "personalize" the posters.
2.what do you mean by personal? i think that since you are already talking about 3 different people, its obvious that the posters will be different. are you going to make the poster their favorite color? likes and dislikes? did not provide much info to go off of.
3. we understand what you are doing as far as the project goes, but we'd like to see more detail as to how the posters will look.

- Does this tentative poster template sound like it would be appropriate as a way to present these people to the clientele?
Sure. Read below for more info.

Well yes it is a good tactic, but isn’t that what most posters do anyway? And clearly the uniformity would be the template you are using. If it is not that uniform then why even choose to use the template at all? If the posters will be hung in different locations, is uniformity really necessary?

“white-space designated to include a photo,” Where is this white space?
“text boxes” – what font would you use? Size?
explain what you mean by personalization.
- Does the rest of our draft proposal help establish an understanding, and reflect, our poster idea?
Yes. Re-read draft before finalizing b/c you have some technical errors and grammar mistakes; a lot actually.

think about incorporating borders around your posters and pictures. That always makes things look more professional and complete.
