Each group will give a five minute presentation of its draft Client Materials on Monday (11/22). Groups will present in front of the client contacts and Dr. Tirrell (class does not meet as usual on this day). Groups may select one or more representatives to give the presentation; all group members need not participate. Each group has a scheduled 10-minute block of time, with five minutes for presentation and five minutes for feedback. People should not enter the classroom until their scheduled time. The schedule is as follows:
Presentations should demonstrate how the group's materials accomplish the client's goals (or how they will when complete). Presenters should be prepared to receive feedback from the client. Client feedback will likely suggest changes to the materials that groups should take into account. Effective presentations are those that convince the client that the group's materials are effective and that the designers are prepared to make any needed changes to satisfy the client. Presenters are encouraged to utilize the information in TCT Chapter 16 when preparing and giving their presentations. |
