Presentation

On Thursday, Oct. 31, each group will give a 5–10 minute presentation demonstrating its Packaging and Promotional Materials. Materials are not expected to be in a final state; the goal of the presentations is to collect revision ideas. Presentations should articulate how each material accomplishes its goals, and should include at least three specific questions soliciting audience feedback suggestions.

Groups may select one or more representatives to deliver the presentation; all group members need not participate. The Presentation rubric appears below.

Criteria Traits 0 pts. 1 pt. 2 pts.
Preparation The presentation contains few inordinate pauses and filler words. It is within time limits and is the product of obvious rehearsal.
Delivery The presenter maintains eye contact, modulates voice appropriately, and presents rather than reads. The presenter has demonstrable enthusiasm for and knowledge about the materials.
Body Control The presenter is visible to the audience rather than hidden behind furniture and fidgeting is limited.
Organization The presentation has a clear purpose and comprehensible structure. At least three feedback questions are offered.
Material Aids The Packaging and Promotional materials are featured prominently and explicated appropriately.
