The Client Report is a brief document (approximately 5 to 10 pages including figures and tables) that provides each group's client with a digested UX analysis of their website drawing upon Baymard's tools. The report's goal is to synthesize evidence-backed recommendations that the client could use to guide website revisions. The report should include visuals such as annotated screenshots, graphs, diagrams, lists, and tables (which we have addressed in our readings). The reports will be delivered with corresponding Client Presentations, and the two should work together. View the report and presentation as opportunities to communicate your recommendations to the client in a comprehensible way.
Excellent Client Reports will be informative, evidenced, and actionable. They also will be in a finished, polished format suitable for a professional audience. Students are encouraged to consult chapters 8 & 9 of our textbook for guidance on composing recommendation reports. Links to an external site.
