I have replied to your final Project 1 questions. I encourage you to read through them all, so that you are completely clear about the parameters of Project 1. You should also consult the Project 1 page (particularly the rubrics) for this purpose.

Also, the results of our class draft poll may be found here. It may be tricky to process the results, but they are probably useful. If your draft received few or no votes, it is possible that our class is not your intended audience and may not be able to judge your work appropriately; however, it is equally possible that your work may not be as effective as it could be. Don't dismiss the results without considering their implications.

Conversely, if your draft received several votes, it is possible that your work is effective, but it is equally possible that it is visually appealing but that it lacks rhetorical effectiveness. Given our voting situation, people most likely chose works that were visually memorable, but we must make certain that our work is actually accomplishing its intended purpose as well and not just pretty but empty.

I'll be responding to your data map second drafts today and tomorrow. The project is due on Monday.
