Will each member of the group take part in every step of the production of the three texts (press release, internal memo, recorded message)? I understand we will, at the very least, plan and organize them together, but will they be pieced together as a whole as well (so we know how to create each text individually)?

Are we allowed to use a crisis that is older than five years but is still on-going?

For the Crises Analysis portion (part 1), does each person pick a different crisis to research and write the report on? Or do we decide as a group which crisis we're researching and then each group member writes their own report?

(I believe it was the last two sentences of that particular portion which threw me off: "The class will select a limited number of corporate crises to pursue in groups. Selected authors will receive individual bonus points and function as group leaders.")

For the recorded message are all members to be participating in the actual delivery or are there to be speakers and background positions?

What exactly is the Gnatt chart? Are we depicting a visual division of labor amongst our group members or making up some kind of division of labor for this company we are doing the crisis management for?

So the group works together on all elements of the project, except for the group leader who writes a two page summary of the corporate crisis? And you may have mentioned this in class but are we mainly going to use our class time to work on the CCP?

The Crisis Analysis section is supposed to be in "polished format". Will we be given further instruction on the structure and specifics of that format?

In upholding the duties of a PR associate, are we meant to write in a protective manner of our employers or take a more denigrating approach?

What is the minimum scale of the corporate crisis (local, national, international)?

How much guidance will we be given in what exactly is the correct language and rhetoric to use in the final product?

Concerning the texts that we will have to write, is there a limit of words/pages for each of them?

For the recorded message portion of the project will we be provided in class with video cameras/other necessary equipment or will we furnish those things ourselves?

How many people will be in each group?

What exactly is a Gnatt chart???? From what I read we only do the two page paper by ourselves and everything else is in the group?

How many people will be in the group and will every persons grade in the group be the same or vary?

If there is any conflict during the group project, such as one member not doing their share of work, how should we go about handling this? Or would we just handle this by the grading process?

I was sick on Friday and didn't make it to class so basically I'm very confused. :/
I'm reading up on everything though and hopefully everything will make sense eventually. I don't know if I get credit for this seeing as I'm two days late but I thought I'd give it a shot.... My question was if you assigned the groups on Friday or if you were going to do it tomorrow.

Since i missed class last week I'm now catching up on all the assignments and missed posts to the comment board.

I just added the class so i'm not sure if I'm supposed to jump in a group or just wait to be assigned to one. Does anyone know what i should do?

For the Gnatt chart what program will we be using?

I also just added the class, but I pretty much get everything except the Gnatt chart. Would that be like an excel spreadsheet?
