Apple Press Release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: August 19, 2009
Apple Crisis regarding iPod Nano and iPhone malfunctions.
Due to the overheating of the batteries used in our products, Apple and our customers have experienced hazardous malfunctions regarding various models of the iPod and iPhone.
Three incidents of exploding Apple devices have been reported this year. In one case, an iPod Touch exploded while in a fifteen year old body's pocket, melting his clothing and burning his skin.
Though we do not take these problems lightly, rumors have been circulating regarding the safety hazards in all of our products. However, the number of incidents that have occurred is considerably low in comparison to the millions upon millions of iPod and iPhone models sold by Apple. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, only fifteen devices have presented an issue but have caused no life-threatening injuries.
In the event of any future incidents regarding the explosion of any Apple products due to the overheating of the lithium-ion batteries used in our products, customers are strongly encouraged to contact Apple immediately to inform us of the situation.
Though the events are isolated, we are conducting research on the affected phones reported to uncover specific causes of these explosions in addition to the overheating of the batteries.

Fisher Price Toy Recall
It is come to the attention of our company that some of our toy products sold between May of 2007 and August of 2007 contain unacceptable levels of lead in their paint. We at Fisher Price are thankful to report that there have been zero reported injuries and are happy that this issue was brought to our attention, as we believe that there is no compromise for consumer safety. Children and the safety of their toys will remain our number one priority and we plan to take every step necessary to prevent something like this from happening again in the future. The problem stemmed from the unethical manufacturing processes practiced by one of our Chinese factories. We will be ceasing all relations with this vendor and to ensure that nothing of this sort happens again in the future, we plan on ordering in-depth investigations into the ethical standards of our overseas vendors by third-party safety inspectors. Chinese authorities have also agreed to step up their inspection officials’ training seminars. To guarantee your child’s safety, we have provided a list of every affected toy on our website in an easily identifiable format. This is the first and last time something of this nature will happen at Fisher Price toys. We will continue to take every necessary step to make sure your children play with the highest quality and safest toys on the market.
NBC Rearranges Late Night Line-Up
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Los Angeles, California-Jan 27- Recently the NBC network has been contemplating several changes to its late night network line-up. These changes primarily revolve around Jay Leno’s show which airs at 10 o’clock and The Tonight Show hosted by Conan O’Brien that airs at 11:35 pm.
NBC would like to extend a heartfelt apology to all of its loyal viewers for any inconvenience this has caused. We understand that there are strong feelings on both sides of this debate for the outcome of Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien’s futures at NBC. The network is working tirelessly to find a resolution that would satisfy both parties involved in the matter, and for this reason we could not release more concrete information sooner.
Concern has been arising over the past few months about the ratings for both shows and how they are affecting local affiliates of NBC. We felt that the most appropriate action would be to move Jay Leno back to his original time slot at 11:35 pm. This move would push Conan O’Brien back to a 12:05 am time slot.
The conflict has arisen out of Conan O’Brien’s rumored refusal of this proposed plan. We at NBC are trying to work to resolve the issues with both parties and to dispel any unconfirmed rumors from either host. Again we would like to apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our viewers and we hope to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

British Columbia, Canada (January 13, 2009)- Stork Craft would like to issue a public apology addressing a recall on Stork Craft Baby Cribs as it has been called to public attention that there was a manufacturing flaw in over 500,000 produced cribs. Although the repercussions of the faulty cribs have not proved to be lethal in any case, a few injuries have been reported.
The company would like to apologize for the inconvenience it has caused Stork purchasing parties in finding other arrangments for their customers (in the case of retailers) and infants (in the case of patrons) while they wait for the replacement kits. Stork corportation also apologizes for any and all affected persons by this recall and plans to issue free repair kits as quickly as possible, which can be ordered online at our website www.storkcraft.com.
The recall was caused by faulty metal brackets used to support the mattress and matress board of the crib, these may break and crack, potentially causing the crib to collapse. This collapse creates a gap between the mattress and the dropside which can cause a dangerous spot for the infant get stuck in. In an effort to prevent further indicents we advice the discontinued use of hte recalled cribs until the necessary repair kit is ordered.
