Summary:
For this project component, each student will lead a 5 minute class discussion over an example podcast. Students should select one episode of the podcast that is particularly worthy of critique and a productive learning model for the class. The purpose of this presentation is to identify effective podcast features by discussing how these materials have been crafted to target a specific audience, suit a specific context, and accomplish a specific purpose. Presenters should isolate specific strategies that the podcast episode employs that could be adapted for our work, and they should play selected portions of the podcast episode to support their observations.
