Presentation

Each student will present his or her Online Map and Tangible Placemark designs to the class in no more than two minutes. Students will have access to the instructor station and should display their materials. (Other presentation software can be used but is not required.) Presentations should discuss the materials' audience, context, and purpose and then demonstrate how their features suit these aspects.

Excellent presentations demonstrate obvious rehearsal by being within the two-minute time limit and containing few inordinate pauses and filler words. Effective presenters display knowledge about their subject and tend to speak with audience members rather than read to them.

Audience members who are not presenting should pay attention to speakers, as the next presenter will be expected to connect the previous presentation with his or her own briefly before starting.
