    Client Report

    • Due May 4, 2021 by 8am
    • Points 20
    • Submitting a website url or a file upload

Each group will produce a brief Client Report (approximately three pages) that articulates how its website suits the client's goals. The report will be submitted with each group's presentation, and the two should work together. View the report and presentation as opportunities to demonstrate your website's effectiveness to the client. (You might think of this report as a version of the Materials Analyses we have done previously, which have articulated why your documents are successful.)

Excellent Client Reports will be informative and persuasive, and they will demonstrate that the group has taken client needs into account. Excellent Client Reports also will discuss the corresponding website's concrete, specific elements and be in a finished, polished format suitable for a professional audience. It likely would be effective to include visuals that demonstrate how the website functions, such as annotated screenshots. Students are encouraged to consult chapter 9 of our textbook for guidance on composing reports.

The commented student drafts linked below may be useful examples (although they address different documents):

    • Center for Teaching Excellence & Center for Faculty Leadership infographics
