    Challenge 8: Reflection and Presentation

    • Due May 4, 2021 by 11:30am
    • Points 5
    • Submitting a website url or a file upload

This final challenge is focused on reflection and preparation for your Advocacy Initiative presentation. To complete this challenge, submit a document of approximately three pages with the following:

    1. A brief overview of your group's goals (you might reference your initial mission statement)
    2. A discussion of your group's greatest successes
    3. A discussion of your group's greatest challenges
    4. A discussion of possible ways your group might continue and expand its initiative after the semester ends (you are under no obligation to follow through)
    5. A cumulative statement of what you learned collectively about writing and activism from this experience and how you might apply those lessons in the future

Feel free to use headings to separate these sections clearly. Once your document is complete it should be submitted here.

During our final exam period (May 4, 11:30 a.m.), each group will draw from this document and deliver a presentation of approximately five minutes that demonstrates what it achieved during the semester. Presenters will be able to share their screens and are encouraged to showcase their group's successes. Groups may select one or more representatives to deliver the presentation; all group members need not participate. After the presentations have completed, the class will vote on the groups' demonstrated achievements. Groups can earn extra credit based on the voting results.
