Tool/Technique Workshop
- Due Apr 26 by 9:30am
- Points 10
- Submitting on paper
Each team will lead a workshop (not a static lecture) of no more than 10 minutes over any aspect within its purview: project management, research & writing, or video production. This workshop should cover a tool or technique that could be helpful to future production processes. Workshops might address, for example, using creation tools such as Adobe Express, identifying sound files unencumbered by copyright through Creative Commons search, or communicating with groups through Slack or Teams. Workshops should incorporate some form of hands-on class activity.
The instructor station (computer and projector) will be available to presenters. Not all group members must be presenters; groups can divide their overall workload internally. Students are not expected to be experts with their chosen tool or technique; delivering the workshop is a means to gain experience with it. Groups also are not required to use the tool they cover in their own workflows. Excellent workshops will deliver productive information in an engaging and readily comprehensible way.
