Client Report

  • Due May 4 by 8am
  • Points 60
  • Submitting a website url or a file upload

The Client Report is a brief document that provides the client with digested information drawn from each group's usability testing of Gamma.app with faculty and students. Its goal is to synthesize recommendations backed by evidence that could be used to refine Gamma.app to better suit academic users in your group's subject area. All groups should compose their documents using the class Client Report template so that they are consistent for readers.

The reports will be delivered with corresponding Client Presentations, and the two should work together. View the report and presentation as opportunities to communicate your findings to the client in a comprehensible way.

An excellent Client Report will be informative, evidenced, and actionable. An excellent Client Report also will be in a finished, polished format suitable for a professional audience. It likely would be effective to include visuals such as graphs and screencaps (which we have covered in our textbook). Students are encouraged to consult chapter 9 of our textbook for guidance on composing reports.
