Project 2 comprises group and individual deliverables. The group seminars are each two-point homework grades, and do not factor into the Project 2 grade. The other deliverables are graded holistically. This means that the components of Project 2 do not lose a set number of points based upon specific errors; they are evaluated upon their overall rhetorical effectiveness. There are 100 total possible points. The breakdown is as follows:
- CD package and design plan (0-30 points)
- First promotional item and design plan (0-30 points)
- Second promotional item and design plan (0-30 points)
- Evaluation memo (0-10 points)
The holistic numeric scores of the three group deliverables will be the same for each group member; the evaluation memo scores will be different. Part of the evaluation memo score will be based upon how a person is evaluated by his or her fellow group members.
