Poster
1. The tone should be professional. You will want it to be informative and serious, but it is important to not make it overly informative. It needs to be easily understandable.
2. It is possible to have too much information. I would stick to the most important information and leave out details that aren't as vital.
3. Don't know... haven't seen it.

These are good questions to consider. Make sure to address them when you are making your posters.

Poster
1. I think the poster's tone should be more informative than serious. Espicially since you are targeting UNCW students.
2. Be concise enough so that your poster is no exceptionally wordy and thus difficult to quickly interpret.
3. Your poster should be attention grabbing.
4. Certainly by putting up posters in areas that generally have more people will be more effective. Just keep in mind that you want to make sure the people that are there are the ones that you think would appreciate the event.
5. The theme seems appropriate, but I cannot comment on the color since you have not yet decided.
6. The information should be easy to understand.
Slide Show
Since the slide show is not complete it is difficult to answer the questions. But your slide show should be catchy and also convey the approprate message. The audience should be able to quickly view the show and understand it's message. I think that playing at in academic buildings will be very effective. An outsider would likely expect to see what the event is about, who it is benefitting, and where it is going to occur.
Team Johnny Response
1. The tone should be informative and serious to an extent, but not so much that it is a turnoff to students that may potentially attend.
2. There shouldn't be too much information, not everyone will stop to read a poster full of text. The information should be blunt and to the point.
3. It is hard to say, since the color scheme isn't decided yet. If bright colors are used and they mesh well, it should be attention grabbing.
4. If more people are attracted in the dorms, of course that location will be more effective. With that said, posters located in academic buildings may have a larger audience, since the context is more related to the atmosphere.
5. That depends on what colors are decided on.
6. If the information is presented just as described in the draft, it should be easy to comprehend without stopping. As long as the information isn't in a sentence or a paragraph, it will be easy to comprehend.
1. If the color scheme is bright, it should be catchy.
2. As long as the information is to the point and not too lengthy, the message should be conveyed effectively.
3. Its hard to tell, without knowing what is said to explain the event.
4. There isn't enough information provided to answer this question.
5. Since the title doesn't exactly explain the event, there should be a brief description of what exactly the event is.
JBB Critique
1. I think it needs to be informative, as long as that is your tone I think that the rest of it will fall into place.
2. Concise is key. People do not want to read a lot of words about an event that is an hour and a half long.
3. I don't know.
4. It depends on what they look like to really judge the attraction. Different locations will attract different people.
5. I don't know.
6. I don't know.
7. I don't know.
For the slideshow, I can't really answer any of the questions because there is no example of what it looks like. It needs to be colorful, concise, and informative. People need to be able to look at your slide and in a matter of seconds know what is going on, why it is going on, and when it is going on.
