Purpose: I want to give those who have a background in art or a love for art the ability to feel inspired to create and see it everywhere. Hopefully after reading this, someone who loves art and can easily imagine art will want to fill their apartment/living space with as much art as possible. The purpose of these instructions is to help those who can find ways of using everything as art do so.
Audience: My audience would be those who appreciate and understand creativity; people who have tons of ideas but no way of organizing those ideas into creative pieces. It is one thing to have a lot of extensive knowledge of art, but if you can not successfully express that knowledge it is useless. My audience would have some artistic things, but probably nothing created personally. They would have to want to create.
Context: The communication can take place any time. Whenever this person feels inspired by something they have seen or read. Maybe they were at Wal-mart and found something they thought they could incorporate into a focal piece but just weren’t sure how. Again, a tangible instruction set would be effective.
Strategies: Creativity is very important. This layout would be just as creative and artistic as the one for the artistically challenged. The instructions themselves would inspire creative genius. A strategy I will use to help my audience is getting them to relate their pieces of art to one another. Or to think of how a focal piece can tie in everything in their room.
Medium: Tangible, creative and inspiring; something that mirrors my topic. Maybe it will have a focal point of art.
Arrangement: I will start with getting the audience to think of how everything relates to one another in the room that they want the focal piece of art to be in. Again, they must find what is missing. Is there an element of art that their room does not cover? I will have them go over the basic elements of art in their minds to see if they are missing something important, such as a flow that draws the eye from one piece to the next.
Testing: I would test my instruction set on a few friends who are creative and want to create more. I will also let those who are not creative test out my instructions and see if it would still work for someone who has creativity issues.
Feedback
I think in this design plan that the purpose is the most effective aspect for communication. You can sense the passion and motivation and this is the highlight of the design plan. Moreover, being interested in what you are trying to communicate will ultimately lead to a connection with your audience and I think this was captured overall.
Medium seems to be explained the least and I wanted to compose a clearer picture in my head of what the tangible, creative, and inspiring will be. However, this is a good premise and it seems that the outcome will be effective.
Our instructions are very different, but similar in regards to the medium because we both want them to be tangible and inspiring.
I think the testing might have some complication due to the fact that it is sometimes hard to be creative right on the spot and this does not necessarily mean that the instructions are at fault.

I feel the strategies section is most throughly explained. I feel that the idea to ensure the "layout would be just as creative and artistic as the one for the artistically challenged" is very important. It does a really good job about making sure these instructions will be compatible for people with various skills/ creativity levels.
I feel that possibly the Purpose could be more thoroughly explained. "Creating art" can be interpereted in an infinte number of ways, so when I initially read the purpose section, I didn't really have a greater sense of what these instructions were actually for.
I am also writing instructions on create something. I am also going to make my instruction set design layout very interesting and appealing so it can inspire creativity in the artistic project.
Maybe you could be sure to include pictures of various examples to inspire different ideas for the audience.
