Proposal
Each group will produce a brief printed Proposal (2–3 pages) that articulates how the group's materials suit the client's expectations. The Proposal will be submitted as part of each group's presentation. View the Proposal as an opportunity to demonstrate to the client that your documents will be the most effective option.
Excellent Proposals will be informative and persuasive, and they will demonstrate that the group has taken the client's feedback into account. Excellent Proposals also will address concrete specifics about the documents and be in a finished, polished format suitable for a professional audience. Students are encouraged to consult chapter 9 of our textbook for guidance.
Please bring two printed copies of your Proposal to your presentation: one for the client and one for me.
Presentation
Each group will give a brief client presentation (of no more than five minutes) demonstrating the documents it produced. Presentations should explicate the documents' design and why they will be effective. Each group's Proposal will be submitted with its presentation, so it may be a good strategy to connect the two.
Groups may select one or more representatives to deliver the presentation; all group members need not participate. If the client is unable to participate during presentations they will be videotaped. Presenters are encouraged to consult chapter 11 of our textbook for guidance.
