This article talks about how President Bush said that the decision on when to pull U.S. troops out of Iraq will be up to a future president. To me it seems like he's putting the war on to someone else. I was just wondering on what everyone thought about the situation, whether you think he's doing justice for the troops that have died there by staying in it, or that he realized that he was in over his head and doesn't know what to do?

Bush is Busch League

Of course, Bush can't run for president again, but I think he is a horrible president. Keeping troops in Iraq is a must because the Iraqi sytem would be in fall without our support. I think Bush has put a lot of things on the next president because of his sure stupidity. I think the men who died, died for their country and deserve the highest respect from everyone here in America.

Iraq

I think that it is wrong not to finish something that he started. I don't really understand what he is trying to accomplish over there. I'm not sure that he knows what he is doing there. Because the US is there, we might as well try and rebuild the country the best we can like we have done to others.

Iraq

It’s not that President Bush does not want to pull our troops out of Iraq but that our commitment to Iraq’s peace and stability dictates that we stay. I believe if we exit, civil and religious unrest would further fracture and devastate the country. Since World War II, history has shown us that pulling out prior to the formation of a stable government tends to create deadly chaos. One example is Vietnam. The possibility of early exit from Iraq is very doubtful and our presents there will probably last well into the future.

Troops need to be pulled out

Troops need to be pulled out but they can't be taken out right now because a civil war would break out and we would be right back where we were right before the our invasion. I mean I don’t think the war was a good idea to begin with but we must try to stabilize the country as best we can. Or we could do what England did after the Revolutionary War and let us figure out how to run our own government. Imperialism I thought was gone a few centuries ago, but I guess not.
