Project 1: Organization Website Rubric

Submitted by Anonymous on Sat, 2007-01-06 19:52.

The grade for Project 1 is based upon three main components: the Design Plan, the Final Website, and the Evaluation Memo. (Other activities, including drafts and meetings with the organization's contact, are homework grades, and they do not factor into the Project 1 grade.) The Design Plan and the final website are graded holistically. This means that they do not lose a set number of points based upon specific errors; they are evaluated upon their overall rhetorical effectiveness. These scores will be the same for each group member. The evaluation memo scores will be individual. The evaluation memo asks each group member to rate the contributions of all group members on a scale from 1 to 10. Each individual's score will be an average of these evaluations.

There are 100 total possible points.

  • display grammar and mechanics appropriate to situation

Final Website: (0-80 points—the website that is selected by the organization will receive the full 80 points)
