The purpose of testing is to involve your audience in the composition process and thereby make your communication as effective as it can be.
To form a testing plan, do the following:
- Think about how you might identify and contact people from your intended audience.
- Think about how you could record feedback from this sample audience about your communication.
- Make a plan for testing while composing your communication. It is more effective to make revisions while composing than to go back and try to make changes to a finished work.
