Instructions Project
Would you advise us to do this project on something we are very well informed on or on something we might not know everything about but are interested in? Why?
Audience
For this project, does it matter which audiences we pick to write for, or can we choose any two?
No comprende
What are some of the past successful projects your students have done? Are there any common problems associated with this?
Format?
What format for presentation has been the most successful in the past? (audio, video, written)
detail
How far do we need to go into detail on the instructions?
target audience
I am confused about the two different audiences the instructions are to address. Could you give examples of two specific audiences that would need two distinct sets of instructions?
What are the two audiences
What are the two audiences and what primary differences will be expected of the two instruction sets?
Scale
I am unclear so far on how to properly address the different audiences in a meaningful way rather than just cut down our simplifying. Is one just a set "for dummies" and the other for pros?
Formatting
Can the formatting of the instructions be more loose depending on the audience/product?
Having Fun with Subject Matter
I was curious how much leeway we would have in choosing a topic for our instructions. For example, could we write a set of instructions for operating your new teleporter?
Instruction Project
What is some more information that can describe the usability tests that are to be turned in.
Instructions - Question
Could you explain in details what "non-trivial and of genuine utility" mean for this project ? Thank you
2 sets
Are two sets of instructions often produced in real life? For what reasons, and are they published together? Examples?
Not a group project this time?
So are we doing this project on our own this time?
Audience
I'm a little confused on what two audiences we are striving to write to. Could we clarify this further?
Instructions Question
Should we choose a topic we know a lot about or something that we don't know a lot about?
