2. Yelapa, Mexico : Travel in 10 Travel Podcast - Videocast 12
3. The Travel in 10 website offers a series of 10-minute podcasts about various destinations around the world. This specific podcast discusses Yelapa, Mexico. It is a video podcast which shows images and video clips of ideal sites in Yelapa. The website is really organized and keeps a consistent format, which makes it really user-friendly. They also maintain consistency throughout all their podcasts -- each one lasts approximately 10 minutes and includes the same basic information about the various locations.
This actual podcast goes over and reviews two resorts in Yelapa, Mexico. It offers a low-budget vacation for the thrifty traveler, as well as a more exclusive and exotic resort for those willing to spend more money. It also discusses the different services offered by each resort and includes photos and videos of each resort. The podcast discusses and shows different sites to see in the area and activities to do while on vacation there. The podcast could have further discussed more dining options, but they were also working under a time limit so the information included had to be selected carefully. It also includes the various ways to get around while in Yelapa, which is a very important factor of travelling.
The website is really easy to navigate, offering tabs for ‘About,’ ‘Travel Deals,’ ‘Travel Resources,’ ‘Press Room,’ ‘Contests,’ ‘Subscribe,’ and ‘Contact.’ No matter what the user wants to access from this site, they won’t have a very difficult time finding it. The color scheme is very neutral, which I think could be enhanced to be more appealing to the eye. But the overall design is very simple and visually appealing. I think that the Travel in 10 Website does an overall good job at organizing their podcasts, and also at making some useful and interesting podcasts that appeal to a wide variety of audiences.
4. Do you think the vodcast included useful information for travellers? If you were creating a travel podcast, what kind of information would you have included?
Travel in 10 Podcast
The Travel in 10 Podcast was very informative. It can be useful for travelers in many ways. The venues are gorgeous and the voice over includes thorough information for its audience, however the filming is very bad. The quality and stability of the camera should be improved to promote the reliability of the podcast.

Yes, the vodcast was very informative to future travelers. The view of Yelapa was amazing and the information that the host was discussed was very relevant. I liked that this was a vodcast because without the images it would be hard to show travelers where they would be. I don't know what additional information I would have included because it seemed to cover it pretty well.

I do think that the Travel in 10 podcast had useful information. It ranged a full day, from tourist spots and places to eat to places to stay. I wish that it would have discussed more food spots, though. It really only discussed the pie lady. I would also have liked to see the prices shown for everything, especially the hotels. It would have been nice to see the price difference of staying in the mosquito net resort to the nicer one.

The vodcast was informative and could be very useful for travelers; however, the shaking of the camera was making me sick because it was not stable. If the shots had been zoomed out more then they may not have been that bad. If I were to create my own, I would try to categorize them. For example, mountains, beaches, tropical areas, cities, etc.
