I work for a company online and do alot of support for customers. I think I am going to build some type of flow chart about how to break down the procedure of responding to technical support questions. It will not be that useful for experienced techs, but new people that are hired could follow these steps and help break down issues and get solutions for the customers. I am sure that a major company would have some type of chart for working through issues, and to help train.
Also, I have wanted to redesign our company website for a while, but the amount of work that would require is a bit beyond the work I am going to be able (and willing) to do for this class.
Develop an interactive flash study guide for a course you are taking.
Make a TV commercial for your favorite movie/videogame.
Design a website to promote a group/orginization you are affiliated with.
The ppt for the volunteers is one idea i had. also possibly making a website for a restaurant or store that doesnt have one, and maybe a webiste that students can go to if they want information about things here at purdue.
Instead of designing something for an alien or future audience maybe design a pamphlet or document explaining how to use a current technology to an ancient culture or civilization.
I really have no idea on what topic to do my project on, but I really like the idea of doing something visual, such as creating characters and a comic to get a message across.
I'm feeling the itch to do something political, like maybe make an interactive online story book type of thing explaining political parties for children.
I also may consider designing a Web site- I design and produce my own jewelry and I'd like to expand the business to online sales.
I'm thinking of making a short CG video of some sort where I create the models and animate them to some existing audio track...
Or maybe doing it the other way round. Matching audio to existing video clips. e.g. a music video.
If I go with the former I have no clue what I'd do as a subject.
Due to time issues... I think I'll end up going with the latter option.

I could produce a new website for my aunt's classroom (something she has been asking me to do for her for a while).
I could figure out how to make an interactive image viewer that would be used on a webpage for image viewing. This is something that I have been wanting to figure out for a while now.

Java appelet Monopoly game which can be customized by the users with the images and names of user choice.
Example - Name of town, city, picture of cities etc....
Recommended for CS background with sufficient programming skills.
