Week 12

For the first week of the project it was a little confusing for our team. We weren't quite sure what all we needed to do. We started off sending out documents to everybody. We made documents so any of the teams could post questions for the client if needed. We also had each team list all their tasks within their teams and how long each would take. After getting the feedback from the teams we took that information and put it into a gantt chart. We color coordinated each team to make it easy to follow. Throughout the week we checked on the teams progress and if any of their tasks were completed we change that specific task on the gantt chart to black to show the projects progress. We also made a document for each team asking them to fill it out once every week. This document lets us know where that team is at on the gantt chart, what task they are working on, see if they have any questions for the client, and if they need any extra help on anything. We made it clear to everyone that if a team is struggling to get something finished we are there to help them. So far none of the teams have needed any extra help. Starting next week each of us on our team have decided to split up and each take the responsibility of one of the other teams. We will be documenting their progress, getting things answered for them, and helping them out if needed. This will allow us to get more comfortable with the other teams and make it easier for them to ask us for help. At the end of each class meeting our team will then get back together and talk about what is going on in each of the other teams. So far, our team has done everything together. Next week, we will each be doing different things and I think that will give us more things to do on the project.
