Work Blog
This week was kind of a crazy one for me and for the rest of the teams. On Monday I stepped up and started asking a lot of questions to the different groups. I really took some time to figure out what front and back end was contributing to this project. After much communication I realized that we needed to allow more communication to flow between the teams. I worked with front end to get their information together to give to back end which agreed to finish the website by Friday if they could. I also talked with backend to figure out how they thought the project was going to go. I worked with doc and testing and helped them start working with back end again to get more information to write their documents. Design team was surfing the internet most of the class and I finally asked them to submit a document to docs and testing that included the picture sizes and the color choices for the website so that could be included in the change document.
On Wednesday I was sick with the flu. So I was unable to come to class, however I did send out a document that stated the progress from Monday.
For Friday I wrote the group evaluation paper that was suppose to be completed. Kevin was supposed to have emailed the group my Thursday but neglected to notify the group if he was still doing it. Because he did not say if it was done or not, I did one and posted it to Google docs and to the course website. On Friday morning he also posted one and did one after mine was already submitted. Also on Friday I helped evaluate the other groups and we went around to find out how each group was doing.
