Reflecting on the first week of project 3, the frontend coders and I were able to successfully accomplish specific set goals. Some these particular goals that were set for this week included starting to analyzing client’s website, selecting coding language for client new website and discussing with other associated groups on design layouts plans.
At this point in time we are still continuing to decipher the client’s website and determining improvements to base it upon. This helps the frontend coding team to establish a framework skeleton for the new website. We will be using HTML coding with CSS to limit the amount unnecessary coding. Throughout the week we have also been talking with various groups to build a foundation of the website. Dealing with the design group we’ve brainstorm different effective design layout that will be workable for us and the design team. This allows our team to be assure a design layout plan is not implemented pass our coding capabilities.
One of the issues I’m concern with in this project is everyone coding capabilities. The last time I’ve coded was my first semester in college three years ago. I think using a coding program such as Adobe Dreamweaver will aid us in the process of coding the new website. In addition to using Dreamweaver to help coding, we will also be reference some coding from the old website to help us in necessary areas.
