Week 12

Roachel — Fri, 11/14/2008 - 18:48

This week the documents and testing team goal was to complete the six rhetorical elements for each specific audience for this project. Each member was assigned a specific audience( job searchers, board of directors, donors, and volunteers), and our job was to analyze each of the six rhetorical elements that apply to our specific audience. Our second goal was to create a survey for each audience in order to test how well the website is designed.

I was assigned the volunteers audience. To complete my individual team task ,I stated my audience's purpose and described what kind of people would make up my specific audience. I also determined the audience's context, strategies, and arrangements as well as I could without the actual completed design of the website. I also created a five question survey based on the volunteer section of the website. This survey asks questions about usability and the overall design of the website.

This week my team finished analyzing each of our individual audiences with the six rhetorical questions and we plan to have our first draft of the completed whole document design plan for each of the individual audiences by Monday. So by Wednesday we should have the fully completed design plan for this entire project, which is a huge contribution to the overall succes of this project.
